Leaders at every level in state agencies are operating in an ever-changing environment and regularly face new challenges. To be successful on both a professional and organizational level, they need new skills and competencies to meet these challenges. Division of Personnel training programs equip leaders with the day-to-day interpersonal skills for leading individuals or groups and the broader, overall skills needed to create and maintain a successful, high-performance workplace. All training programs are tied to The Competency Based Training Rule for Managers and Supervisors which provides a framework for developing and maintaining leadership effectiveness consistent with the needs and mission of each state agency. Customized Training Programs are also available to meet the specific professional development needs of agency staff.
